The settings fixed when Crest is configured, the ones each market sets, and their live values.

Live values appear here once Crest is live on Solana mainnet. The tables below describe each one.
Crest settings#
Crest's settings live in one Config account. They are fixed when it is created and can't be changed afterwards.

| Validator cohort | cohort | One to eight validators, each a vote account and its tip distribution upload authority, in a fixed order. |
| Oracle | oracle | Signs every posted checkpoint, attesting the stake. |
| Reviewer | reviewer | A second key that must also sign every posted checkpoint. |
| Dispute authority | dispute_authority | Rules on challenges. It must differ from the oracle and the reviewer. |
| Challenge window | challenge_slots | How many slots after a post anyone can challenge. Shorter than the delay limit. |
| Proposal bond | proposal_bond_lamports | Paid by whoever posts a checkpoint, returned at finality or an upheld ruling, lost to a successful challenger. |
| Challenge bond | challenge_bond_lamports | Paid by a challenger, returned with the proposal bond if the value is rejected, lost to the proposer if it is upheld. |
| Rate ceiling | max_rate_ppb | The highest cap any market may set. |
| Liquidation reserve | liquidation_reserve_lamports | Part of every deposit. Paid to whoever settles a position that falls under margin. |
| Delay limit | max_checkpoint_delay_epochs | One to ten. How many epochs after an epoch its checkpoint can still be posted, ruled on or finalized. |
| Stake mint | stake_mint | The CREST mint every proposal stake is paid in. It has no freeze authority. |
| Proposal stake | proposal_stake | CREST locked behind every post. Returned at finality, at an upheld ruling or at expiry, paid to the challenger if the value is rejected. |
Market settings#

| Tick | tick_ppb | Above zero. Fixed rates are whole multiples of it. |
| Cap | rate_cap_ppb | Above zero, a whole number of ticks, at or below the rate ceiling. |
